From Bucharest to London to New York, Rares recently graduated from NYU, where he founded the Romanian and Moldovan Students Association, and now works in Private Credit at Deep Ocean Partners.

Recently graduated from New York University with a degree in Economics, and proud of his Romanian roots, Rares Grecu co-founded the Romanian & Moldovan Students Association at NYU, the first such club at the university dedicated to these communities. Through events and dialogue, RareÈ™ has enabled students with Romanian roots to celebrate their culture and support one another abroad. He believes that community, education, and shared identity are powerful tools for building bridges between Romania and the wider world.
