The Romanian Community Summit (GlobalRomania Summit) was created with a clear purpose and vision:

The Summit serves as the largest gathering of Romanian community leaders worldwide, bringing together representatives from business, academia, culture, civic life, and faith. Its primary purpose is to:

• Strengthen collaboration among Romanian diaspora organizations and leaders.

• Create visibility for projects, partnerships, and initiatives developed in the diaspora and in Romania.

• Provide a platform for strategic discussions, exchange of best practices, and launching new collaborations.

• Recognize and honor excellence in the diaspora through initiatives like the Romanian American National Heritage Awards.

Vision

The vision is to build a cohesive and globally connected Romanian diaspora that works together to amplify Romania’s presence and influence in the world. The Summit aims to:

• Position Romanians abroad as a strategic global network of professionals, entrepreneurs, and community builders.

• Inspire the next generation of leaders to stay connected to Romania and contribute to its global role.

• Foster a culture of unity, trust, and long-term collaboration, overcoming the fragmentation that has historically characterized diaspora efforts.

• Ultimately, create a world-class Romanian diaspora that supports a globally significant Romania.
