Cristina Farmus serves as the vice president for special projects at Purdue University, bringing over 20 years of experience at the intersection of academia, industry and government, through projects related to semiconductors, pharmaceutical manufacturing, energy and advanced manufacturing. Her expertise spans academic and R&D administration, workforce development, consortium formation, and partnership management. Currently, she leads initiatives to augment the scholarly culture at Purdue by enhancing book publication and increasing faculty recognition through impactful awards.

Cristina also serves on the board of Heart of a Child U.S., a foundation formed to support the Inima de Copil Foundation in Romania.
