Claudia is a Romanian and U.S.-qualified attorney specializing in pharmaceuticals and life sciences. She is working as in-house counsel for AbbVie Inc.
Claudia brings both local and international expertise to her role at AbbVie Inc., where she has held various positions over time. She acted as Global Commercial Lawyer, Global Brands Attorney for the Immunology franchise, and, most recently, she is Corporate Counsel in the Legal Strategies & Policy group. She also held various assignments within the company in the Middle East & Africa region and in the US. She holds a J.D. and LL.M. from the University of Bucharest and certification in Pharmacoeconomics from the University of Utrecht. She resides in the Greater Chicago Area. She contributes her free time and talents to several ethnic non-profits in Romania and in the greater Chicago area.Â

I could not have wished for a better first RoSummit experience or a better team! I want to acknowledge everyone who worked for organizing the RoSummit 2025 on top of their day jobs, juggling many responsibilities and other commitments—many of them high-level and very complex—just to make this a success for the benefit of the Romanian-American community.
RUF is comprised of like-minded and kind-hearted people who donated their talents and free time for such an extraordinary event.
