Step 3. Join the WhatsApp Groups

We have a main volunteers WhatsApp group. From there, once you join one of the organizing teams (communication, logistics, admin, budget & finance, etc.), you can navigate in the community and join your team's dedicated WhatsApp group. We also have a dedicated Help/Support whatsapp group, called "Ask for Help". Whatever you may need, our admins and summit leads will be able to help. Just drop us a line on Ask for Help.

You may not be able to join the WhatsApp Group from your computer. In that case, go to your phone and check your email. You should have received a link to the WhatsApp group: click on it from your phone.

Step 4. Access Google Drive

You will have to ask for permission to access Google Drive below

Step 5. Read the Summit Brief

Once you access Google Drive, you will be able to read the Summit Brief. The Summit Brief is the first Document in Google Drive, labeled "1. RoSummit Brief". Inside the brief, you will find all the roles, the description of your role, how to connect with your team, and who you're reporting to.

Next Steps

Our Summit admin will receive your contact information, make sure you get added/invited to the proper Zoom calls/meetings, and make the necessary introductions. We use Calendar for all our meetings. They usually happen via Zoom.
